Job summary

Hyrian Elite in Valdosta, GA seeks an experienced Stand-Up Forklift and Reach Truck Operator for a full-time, year-round role on the night shift. Operate standing reach trucks and forklifts, load and unload containers, and use warehouse scanners to manage freight.

Requirements include at least 2 years of reach truck/stand-up forklift experience, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Reach Truck/Stand-Up Forklift experience.
• Experience with warehouse scanners and freight handling.
• Must be drug-free and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound and outbound containers, sort according to size of freight and destination
• Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing process
• Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests
• Label, weigh, and sort freights
• Maintain inventory, rotation and inspection of freight held in the warehouse
• Follow safety procedures and properly use safety equipment
• Assist in setting up the new warehouse
• Perform any other tasks as required
