Job summary

Biery Cheese Co. is seeking a Warehouse Worker Level 1 for the 3rd shift to support shipping and receiving operations. The role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs while operating PIT equipment and following GMP, SQF, and food safety procedures.

The position requires a High School Diploma and may require prior ERP/RF experience. OT including weekends is possible, with a base pay of $21/hour plus a $2 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Prior Knowledge of ERP/RF systems preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and reach truck to move products safely and efficiently.
• Move products by loading/unloading shipments and storing them in correct areas.
• Read picking sheets and use RF handheld units to select items and complete paperwork.
• Verify paperwork matches product to ensure order accuracy.
• Reconcile inventory counts (case and pallet) as needed.
• Load and unload tractors, trailers, and docks following safety procedures.
• Inspect pallets for damage, ensure proper loading sequence and weight distribution.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow GMP/PPE requirements.
