Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Forklift Operator in Puyallup, WA for a 4pm - 1:30am shift. Pay is $18.50 per hour. The role involves safely operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stage materials across warehouse and production areas, supporting timely production and distribution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution.
• Must be able to obtain or maintain forklift certification.
• Basic math and inventory tracking skills.
• Able to read and understand work instructions, labels, and shipping documents.
• Commitment to safety and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and finished products.
• Supply production lines with required materials and remove finished products as needed.
• Perform shipping/receiving activities, including loading/unloading trailers.
• Verify quantities and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies.
• Accurately scan and record inventory movements using handheld scanners or WMS.
• Conduct daily pre-shift forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain organized warehouse storage and proper material handling.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory control.
