Job summary

Altium Packaging in Phoenix is seeking a Forklift Operator for a 12-hour B shift (7p-7:30a) and the night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Base pay is $20.50/hr plus a $1.00/hr shift premium.

You will load/unload materials, operate a forklift, and ensure a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced plant environment. Requirements include 3–5 years forklift experience, a High School diploma or GED, OSHA forklift certification, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years forklift driving experience.
• Ability to navigate basic computer programs.
• Possess basic knowledge of English and math.
• Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load trucks and secure products.
• Load and unload materials onto pallets and lifting devices.
• Monitor material usage and supply production lines with raw materials.
• Receive, store and distribute raw materials to staging areas.
• Visually inspect materials and report quality discrepancies.
• Inventory products as needed.
• Transport scrapped materials to the grinder area.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, ramp, dock and compactor.
