Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a forklift operator responsible for moving merchandise safely and efficiently within the club. You will load/unload deliveries, inspect equipment, stock shelves, and assist with opening/closing duties while ensuring a positive member experience.

Minimum age 18 with required training and certification, and prior forklift experience is preferred but not required. This role involves standing, lifting up to 30 pounds, and working around busy store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect forklifts prior to use and follow safety standards.
• Load and unload merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks.
• Inspect and prepare delivery trucks for unloading.
• Receive merchandise and materials accurately.
• Stock, rotate and store merchandise on the sales floor and in the club.
