Job summary

Altium Packaging in Phoenix, AZ is hiring an experienced Forklift Driver to operate a forklift, load and unload materials, and support production while following GMP standards. The role requires 3–5 years of forklift experience and OSHA certification, with 12-hour B/Night shifts.

Pay is $20.50/hr base plus $1.00/hr shift premium, and the benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company contribution, tuition reimbursement, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years' forklift driving experience.
• Ability to read basic computer programs.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load trucks and secure products per requirements.
• Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Monitor material usage on the floor and supply production lines.
• Receive, store and distribute raw materials to staging areas.
• Visually inspect materials and report discrepancies in quality.
• Inventory products as needed.
• Transport scrapped materials to the grinder area.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, ramp, dock and compactor.
