Job summary

Clarios Florence is seeking a Forklift Operator for the night shift in Florence, Kentucky. The role requires operating sit-down forklifts, weighing shipments, and preparing bills of lading to ensure accurate, on-time delivery.

You will work in a highly automated warehouse, use RF scanners, and support loading and unloading, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. Prior forklift experience (3–6 months) is preferred to move molded parts and manage warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift (3–6 months).
• Experience in a fast-paced, highly automated environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow shipping orders and packing slips.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift, tugger, and hand-truck to move and prepare shipments.
• Weigh and record weights; verify material against packing slips and bills of lading.
• Prepare bills of lading and routing, contact carriers, and dispatch company vehicles if needed.
• Record discrepancies and generate inventory and shipping reports.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and accurate records; learn equipment operations.
