DHL Supply Chain in New York, NY is hiring Forklift Operators to move stock within a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate sit-down forklifts, load and unload shipments, and ensure safe product handling while meeting daily productivity goals.

The role requires forklift certification or completion within 30 days, 6 months of warehouse and forklift experience preferred, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Salary is hourly with shift premium, benefits available.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift-training program within 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate Caterpillar electric sit-down forklifts to move palletized products safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Remove palletized product from production lines and transport to assigned reserve racking locations.
• Pull pallets from reserve racking and stage them at the shipping dock for outbound shipment.
• Load product accurately and safely onto designated trailers.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check load count, stability, and product damage; report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials neatly and orderly.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
