Job summary

Id-Logistics in Ocala, Florida is seeking a warehouse associate for the night shift. You will pick, stack, and move pallets with powered equipment, maintain clean work areas, and ensure shipments are accurate and safely processed.

OSHA certifications are required for progression and safety compliance. The role offers a second shift schedule (Sun-Wed) with hourly pay of $18.50 plus a $2.00 shift differential, plus benefits such as medical, dental, vision options, and a 401K with matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Three+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to obtain and maintain safety certifications (OSHA-related).

Responsibilities

• Pick or Put-away boxes from cages into racks (VNA).
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Report quality variances.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
• Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance.
• Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
• Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can’t be self-corrected to the leadership team.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
