Job summary

General Mills in Belvidere, IL is hiring a Forklift Driver to support our manufacturing operations. You will operate forklifts, move raw materials and finished goods, and assist with inbound/outbound shipments while following all safety procedures. Starting pay is $22.01 per hour, with a $2.00 per hour night-shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience; Forklift license/certification or willing to obtain one.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces.
• Willing and able to adhere to all PPE and grooming requirements for a food manufacturing environment.
• Able to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet conditions and around high-speed machinery.
