Job summary

Flex-N-Gate LLC. is seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to operate powered industrial vehicles safely and efficiently, transporting materials throughout the facility. The role requires continuous operation, strict safety adherence, and the ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments under varying conditions.

Starting pay is $22.00/hour with increases to $22.50 after 90 days and $23.00 after 6 months, with overtime as needed and paid breaks during clocked time.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must be able to understand health and safety compliance training programs written in English.
• Use of basic hand tools such as wrenches and pliers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Continuously sit while driving and operating a forklift during shift; transport materials throughout the facility.
• Empty trash dumpsters using a forklift.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, may be exposed to heat, cold, rain.
• Climb in and out of forklift as needed.
• Use forklift controls with both hands; pedal with right foot.
• Maintain neck/spine range of motion to look behind and up/down while moving.
• Replace a 45-pound propane cylinder mounted on the forklift up to 50 inches high per shift.
• Operate forklifts across all shifts including nights; ensure visibility in low-light conditions.
• Meet visual requirement of 20/40 with correction.
• Maintain forklift certification.
