Job summary

Newlight Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Foodware Technician to support the production of straws, cutlery and future Foodware items. The role transfers product between steps, tends equipment, and packs items into sell units for shipping, with occasional trailer loading and material handling.

Qualifications

• Good hand dexterity for packing small items
• Ability to meet safety expectations consistently
• Willingness to work under GMP rules
• Basic math for data collection and packing
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks
• Maintainability of preventative maintenance activities

Responsibilities

• Pack Foodware products per SOPs and wrap straws and secondary items
• Monitor machine process and report issues to shift leads
• Move materials to maintain process flow and pallet transfer
• Keep workstation clean and follow safety checks
• Complete daily safety and preventative maintenance tasks
• Document process parameters and downtime data
• Report inventory data daily and participate in process improvements
• Support cross training and team effectiveness
• Adapt to changing customer requirements
