Job summary

ATX Specialty Foods in Kyle, TX is hiring a Sanitation Tech to maintain a clean and safe production area. You will wash, sanitize, and maintain equipment and stock levels of cleaning supplies while following GMP guidelines and safety policies.

Shifts run 8:30 PM–5:00 AM. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed to meet production requirements.

Qualifications

• Sanitation training or willingness to obtain training.
• Understanding of SOPs, GMPs, and food safety protocols.
• Experience in food manufacturing or production facilities.
• High attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of mixing and weighing equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Fit to wear a cartridge respirator.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of department area and equipment.
• Wash, clean and sanitize all production batching and filling equipment.
• Wash, clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, pots & pans and utensils.
• Ensure proper stock levels of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Operate large scales, small balances, mixers, forklifts and other equipment.
• Follow prescribed safety policies as established by the company.
• Be flexible for overtime or weekend shifts as needed.
