Job summary

SSC Services For Education is actively hiring a Floor Technician for the Arizona State University-Polytechnic campus in Mesa, AZ. This full-time role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment to keep large educational facilities clean and safe.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 pm to 3:30 am, with a required background in floor care. Pay ranges from $19.05 to $20.05 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package plus same-day pay are offered

Qualifications

Prior floor care experience is required.
Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface.
Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
