Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Floor Technician for the MUSC Charleston location. The role involves floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment with evening shifts from 5:00 pm to 1:30 am. No prior experience is required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor surfaces.
• Cleans carpets and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
