Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Bachelor's Degree must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
• 1+ years PCU experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care within the RN’s scope of practice.
• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Implement teaching plans for patients concerning health promotion and restoration.
• Deliver education, emotional support and age-specific care to patients and families.
• Care for multiple patients through direct care or delegation within the healthcare team.
• Evaluate patient responses to therapies and adjust care as needed.
• Use a critical thinking approach to analyze clinical data and current literature.
