Job summary

Waabi, leading in Physical AI, is seeking a Fleet Specialist for the night shift at our Lancaster, TX terminal. You will prepare autonomous vehicle missions, verify releases and firmware, and ensure data integrity. You’ll monitor systems, communicate with Operators, and escalate safety concerns.

The role requires strong documentation, technical curiosity, and flexibility for extended shifts. Ideal candidates have relevant operations or vehicle testing experience, excellent written communication,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in operations, logistics, technical support or vehicle testing preferred.
• Technical aptitude is central; comfortable with command line and fault handling.
• Strong written communication and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle systems for missions: verify release, map name/version, firmware, mission container config, weight/load ID.
• Launch, monitor, and offload mission data via Waabi App, Jira, and Linux terminal.
• Monitor vehicle and autonomy system status and communicate intent to Vehicle Operator.
• Trigger disengagement when safety requires; escalate appropriately.
• Annotate on-road events and categorize risks per Waabi framework.
• Document mission performance and post-trip procedures with sensor/hardware photos.
