Job summary

Goodyear Fleet Service Centers is hiring for a General Maintenance / Automotive Technician on the night shift in Wethersfield, CT. The role involves servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site, performing oil changes, tire services, inspections, diagnostics, brakes, and fluid exchanges.

Training for advanced repairs and state inspections may occur in a retail setting before working at client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Service delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at client site.
• Perform line technician services: oil changes, tire services, inspections, brakes, fluid exchanges, tire installation.
• Learn to perform advanced repairs and state inspections; training may occur in a retail environment before client-site work.
