Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Field Supervisor - Janitorial to oversee a designated account's cleaning team and shifts, ensuring productivity and client service. This standing and driving role involves patrolling the Terminal and Cargo Areas during the 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am) with duties including training, reporting, and staff coordination.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Janitorial Supervisor experience is preferred and required.
• Proven ability to manage a large team and/or staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Assist with the training of the cleaning team.
• Manage security of keys and access cards for the property.
• Report work orders for maintenance.
• Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Complete order forms completely and accurately.
• Coordinate equipment usage and inventories.
• Manage daily employee lunches and breaks.
• Maintain daily shift report for managers.
• Perform basic administrative, payroll and Attendance functions.
• Maintain communication with Account Managers to monitor staffing levels.
• Provide technical guidance and interpret policies and procedures.
