Job summary

Celanese Evansville is seeking a Night Shift Production Operator to join our extrusion team. You will set up the extruder, monitor the process, and ensure safe, high-quality production across shifts.

This role requires basic industrial math, ability to work with forklifts, and strong teamwork. You will follow SOPs, complete run logs, and assist with safety and housekeeping to keep our plant efficient and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience operating extrusion equipment and associated tooling.
• Ability to use various hand tools and maintain clean work area.
• Willingness to work holidays and weekends.
• Lift 55-lb bags and tolerate hot/cold temperatures.
• Valid driver's license.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up extruder to run product with minimal downtime.
• Monitor and troubleshoot extrusion process.
• Proceed safety and quality issue resolution with team.
• Safely operate forklift.
• Perform line cleanings and turnover reports.
• Maintain run logs and packaging records.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies.
