The Operator ensures safety while overseeing and, maintaining, our extrusion lines. They check quality standards, breakdown equipment, adjust machines, and maintain a clean/organized work environment, in order to maintain the extruders are at optimal performance. This role collaborates with supervisors and teammates to maintain production of quality material. The Operator may assist with training new/potential operators, product inspectors, and other duties as requested by management. They consistently demonstrate, promote and display behaviors aligned to the core values.
This job operates solely in a factory setting. This role requires standing for long periods of time, walking the plant floor is necessary which is within a non-climate-controlled environment. This will require always wearing Personal Protective Equipment such as safety glasses or ear protectors.
