Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a diligent exterior janitor to clean restrooms, floors, and galley areas, and to maintain cleaning equipment at multiple sites.

Responsibilities include setting up cleaning carts, removing garbage, snow removal, and BBP safety compliance. Must be able to operate a pallet jack and floor machine; full-time hours with a pay rate of $19.53 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience in a commercial janitorial setting is preferred.
• Sanitation license is preferred.
• Must be able to furnish own transportation to travel from site to site.
• Real ID or Current Passport

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms including walls, mirrors, toilets and urinals and mop floors.
• Set up cleaning cart with all supplies and equipment for restrooms.
• Empty garbage cans and remove cardboard from kitchen area; transport to dumpsters.
• Maintain cleanliness of back dock area by sweeping and mopping; mop hallway.
• Clean and sanitize areas after bodily fluid spills following BBP standards.
• Removal of snow and operation of snow removal equipment.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Report defective equipment to supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to supervisor.
• Knowledge and ability to use a pallet jack.
• Clean floors and hallways with a motorized floor machine.
• Other duties as assigned.
