Job summary

WSi Healthcare Personnel is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week night-shift contract at a Level IV Trauma Center in Walsenburg, Colorado. The RN will manage acute and emergent patients in a rural hospital setting and participate in rapid assessment, stabilization, and urgent interventions.

Start in November 2026 with end in February 2027. The schedule is 12 hour nights over three consecutive shifts, with varying nights.

Qualifications

• ER RN with experience in acute care and emergency interventions.
• Emergency department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care for patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform rapid assessment, stabilization and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with rural hospital care team.
