Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
• Strong attention to infection prevention and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Disinfect patient treatment, invasive care areas, staff and visitor spaces per policy.
• Collect, store and dispose of medical and related waste following procedures.
• Interact with patients and visitors to provide directions and hospital information.
• Perform projects such as curtain changes, cleaning and restoration tasks as assigned.
• Prepare rooms for new patients including disinfection, bed making and supplies replenishment.
