Job summary

First Solar Inc. is seeking a technically skilled individual to support development tests in the Finishing Development Center.

You will operate processing equipment, follow work instructions, and perform basic data analysis to ensure proper tool operation and test execution. Roles include supporting line with forklift as needed, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts in a 12-hour shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions/test plans.
• Average ability to use processing tools and equipment (robots, conveyors, HMI).
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Able to run JMP scripts and analyze simple datasets using JMP and SQL (training provided).
• Must learn to use JMP and SQL applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tests are completed per schedule, including sample acquisition, testing and data entry.
• Communicate any abnormal findings on product or testing equipment immediately.
• Assist in assigned tasks or other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Analyze work environment and suggest improvements for productivity, safety or performance.
• Follow procedures and instructions to accomplish routine tasks and maintain safety.
