Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EMT certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services required (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-P/LIC PAR).
• Preferred: 1 year of EMT experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with suturing, immobilization, specimens, airway procedures, postmortem care and transport.
• Provide one-to-one observation for psychiatric emergencies when needed.
• Collaborate with Emergency Center staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Prioritize delegated tasks and workload across licensed personnel.
• Maintain infection control and room turnover between patients.
