Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking a part-time emergency physician for night shifts in a medium-volume ED. The role is a 1099 independent contractor with malpractice coverage and Epic EMR.

Candidates should be ABEM or AOBEM board-certified or board-eligible and have 2+ years of experience, with an active Pennsylvania license or ability to obtain one. Night hours run 7 pm to 7 am, averaging six shifts per month, in a department with approximately 22,000 annual visits.

Qualifications

• ABEM or AOBEM board-certified or board-eligible.
• 2+ years of emergency medicine experience preferred.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist with contract negotiation, licensing, and interview coordination.
