Job summary

Equiliem is seeking an Emergency Department RN in Cypress, TX for night shifts 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. with rotating weekends. The 13-week contract involves caring for patients in a 19-bed ED, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1, and collaboration with the care team.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in ED, and holds BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications. Expect fast-paced, high-quality patient care and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of emergency department nursing experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and monitor responses to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered (including tPA).
• Provide emergency care for STEMI and other acute conditions.
• Perform CPR and participate in emergency response efforts.
• Assist with laceration repair and orthopedic care.
• Collaborate with providers to coordinate patient care.
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech.
• Support patient care with Philips equipment.
