Job summary

The J.R. Simplot Company in Grand Forks, ND is seeking an Electrician (Crew D) to manage plant instrumentation, control systems and electrical equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, program, document, upgrade, and install equipment and systems.

Required: high school diploma or GED, technical training or apprenticeship, Journeyman Electrician Card preferred, 3–5 years of related experience. Shift is 7pm-7am; wage $34.81-$38.23/hr plus night differential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of instrumentation/electronic/electrical experience.
• Experience programming and/or PLC operations preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician Card holders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and control systems.
• Program and commission PLCs and instrumentation.
• Install equipment and systems; document changes.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
• Train fellow workers.
• Maintain clean, safe work area.
