Jobot is seeking a 3rd shift Electrical/Mechanical Technician in Monroe, NC. The role focuses on maintenance, installation support, and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems in a production facility.

The position requires reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and electronics, with responsibilities including PLC programming and routine preventative maintenance. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of Electrical/Mechanical maintenance experience.
• PLC trained or experience with PLCs.
• Familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex electronics, mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Install electrical systems, control panels, wiring and motor drives.
• Assist with electrical repairs 120–480V, motor and fuse replacements.
• Review work orders and update systems (Limble).
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules and perform inspections and repairs.
• Use power tools, measuring devices and hot work equipment.
• Respond to emergency events and maintain safety compliance.
• Support OSHA and environmental regulations on site.
