Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night-shift travel assignment in Maryland. Candidates must have 3+ years in ED, Level II Trauma Center background, and an active MD or Compact RN license. BLS/ACLS/PALS and additional certifications are required, including NIHSS, CPI, and TNCC.

The role features a 3x12-hour night schedule, travel-related requirements, and the possibility of floating to related units. Prior travel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ED nursing experience required.
• Night shift travel assignment
• Active MD or Compact RN license (state MD)
• BLS/ACLS/PALS and other certifications required (AHA)
• Level II Trauma Center experience required

Responsibilities

• Treat a Level II Trauma ED across all ages.
• Census 140 across 46 beds; 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Handle chest pain, stroke, sepsis, trauma, respiratory conditions
• Operate Belmont rapid infuser, Giraffe neonate warmer, Lucas device
• Provide care during 3x12-hour night shifts (1900-0730)
• Occasional weekends and holidays; float within specialty as needed
