Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an Emergency Department Tech to join Johnson Memorial Hospital. You will assist physicians and provide compassionate care to patients across a range of medical conditions.

The role is part-time, night shifts, 12 hours, with weekend and holiday rotation. Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR/BLS certification, and successful screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
• CPR/BLS certification required (American Red Cross preferred or AHA accepted).

Responsibilities

• Perform and document nursing tasks in the EHR, including vital signs and ADLs.
• Conduct procedures and treatments such as EKGs and point-of-care testing; monitor restraints and patient response.
• Assist the Registered Nurse with duties and communicate findings to the RN.
• Educate patients and families about the care being provided.
