Job summary

Meijer is seeking a friendly Food Clerk to help create a fresh, welcoming shopping experience in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and keep displays full, fresh, and appealing.

This role emphasizes teamwork, accurate task execution, and safety compliance in a fast-paced store. Previous retail or food service is helpful but not required; physical activity and lifting are part of the job.

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
