Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment in Myrtle Beach, SC. Must have at least 1 year of level 1 trauma CT experience and ARRT Radiography certification; CT certification preferred. Operate GE CT scanners and perform ED/IP exams with trauma protocols.

Night shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with a 400-bed hospital, 3 CT scanners, and Meditech documentation. Housing allowance and travel/licensing reimbursements offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a level 1 trauma setting.
• Minimum 2 years overall experience required.
• ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently.
• Proficient performing routine CT exams for ED and IP patients, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities, and CTA.

Responsibilities

• 400-bed hospital with 3 CT scanners averaging 180 exams per day.
• 2 techs per scanner during day shift, with 3 techs total overnight.
• Equipment includes GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32-slice scanners.
• Documentation via Meditech.
• Performs ED and IP exams only, with a compassionate care model.
• 13‑week assignment with 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM night shift.
• Facility is Joint Commission accredited and ACR accredited for CT.
• Required uniform is charcoal grey scrubs.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.
