Alameda Health System is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA. The role involves 12‑hour night shifts within the Anesthesiology department, caring for inpatients, emergencies, and on‑call situations, under supervision of an anesthesiologist.

A one‑time $15,000 sign‑on bonus is offered. The position requires CA RN license, CRNA certification, and BLS/ACLS; prior obstetrical or emergency anesthesia experience is a plus.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Two years of full‑time anesthetic administration experience; obstetrical and emergency anesthesia desirable.
• California RN license and CRNA certification; BLS/CPR and ACLS required.
• California NBCRNA contingencies may apply for licensing.

Responsabilidades

• Provide anesthesia services as part of the anesthesiology team; assess patients and determine anesthesia plan.
• Administer anesthesia in surgery, labor-delivery, and other areas as needed.
• Assist in post-anesthesia care and inform supervising clinicians of patient status.
• Respond to Code Blues; assist in resuscitations and newborn intubations when required.
• Maintain and restock anesthesia equipment and medications; evaluate new techniques.
