St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Float Team in the Critical Care unit. Night shift hours are 7pm–7:30am, with full-time status at St. Mary Medical Center.

The role requires a BSN, PA RN license, AHA BLS, and 3 years of critical care experience. Responsibilities include patient education, accurate documentation, and collaboration across care teams to deliver quality care.

Qualifications

• BSN required from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License.
• AHA BLS.
• 3 years of experience in critical care.

Responsabilités

• Assesses learning needs, readiness to learn and identifies barriers to learning, incorporating patient education into daily activities considering age, culture and spiritual values.
• Documents admission assessment/reassessment, plan, interventions and medication use and monitors outcomes according to policy.
• Utilizes information systems to enhance communication and documents changes in patient condition to appropriate individuals; prioritizes work based on changing situations.
• Communicates transfer of patient responsibility and pertinent information at the bedside and during interprofessional rounds.
• Recognizes and accounts for patient special needs and individualizes care; knowledgeable in abuse recognition and referral.
• Includes pain management and supportive care in the plan of care.
• Adheres to infection control standards and promotes a safe, clean environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
