Job summary

AdventHealth Winter Garden in Florida is seeking a Paramedic for night/weekend EMS transport. You will provide primary patient care, monitor conditions, and educate patients and families about interventions.

Responsibilities include equipment readiness, safe vehicle operation, documentation, and adherence to EMS protocols. Required licenses/certifications (PARA, CDL, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP) and 1+ advanced life support transport experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensed Paramedic with CDL and valid DL required.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary patient care during EMS transports within scope of practice.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions and treatments.
• Educate patients and families about illnesses and interventions.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; restock supplies as needed.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely in various conditions; ensure readiness of unit.
• Ensure accurate patient and department documentation at all times.
