Job summary

ABM is seeking a reliable Corrugate Tech in the Edison area to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in facilities. The role includes towing and emptying trash and cardboard carts, operating equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting janitorial duties as needed.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 10:00 pm – 6:30 am, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. ABM offers comprehensive benefits and is veteran-friendly, inviting applicants with diverse experience to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial lift and/or tugger to assist in loading or moving materials for yardage.
• Bale cardboard, run a trash compactor, and operate a tow tractor in order to keep production running smoothly.
• Follow assigned work schedules, route cards as directed. Report any barriers.
• Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment to clean areas manually or with hand trucks.
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
• Gather and dispose of trash/recyclables.
• Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
• Notify management of the need for repairs or additions to building systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
