Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring an Overnight Cook for the 2026 US Open at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY. This seasonal role runs from late August through mid-September, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for early wage access through Instapay.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow established recipes and HACCP standards.
• Ability to work for the full event period (Aug 23–Sept 13, 2026).
• Customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced stadium environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portions and temperatures, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation, maintains cleanliness, and stores excess food per safe-handling procedures.
• Assists in production planning, ordering and receiving of food and supplies as required.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents to supervisor and participates in safety meetings.
