Job summary

Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort is seeking a Cook to uphold high standards of food preparation, cooking, and presentation across outlets. You’ll be part of a team that ensures guest satisfaction through friendly service and precise recipe execution.

Responsibilities include preparing sauces, stocks, soups, following recipes, and maintaining safe temperatures. You’ll operate a wide range of kitchen equipment and keep stations clean and organized. Shift differential applies for late hours.

Qualifications

• Six months to two years cooking experience in a fast food restaurant or casual/fine dining environment preferred.
• Pay range: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
• Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees get $1.00 per hour extra between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
• This is not a smoke free workplace; cigarette smoke is present in the work environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following guidelines.
• Prepare, season, finish and garnish all food per recipes.
• Prepare base sauces, stocks and soups.
• Follow all recipes, specs and control procedures.
• Log food temperatures to ensure proper cooking.</br>Complete food prep duties for future orders.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Use correct measurement tools and scales.
• Receive, thaw, store, and re-heat food items.
• Keep work stations clean, organized, and stocked.
