Job summary

Oliver Healthcare Packaging is seeking a Converting Technician for 3rd shift to set up and operate converting equipment, read specifications, and ensure product quality in a controlled manufacturing environment. The role requires attention to detail, math aptitude, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet production targets.

You'll handle daily reporting, 5S activities and safety protocols while delivering high-quality packaging products for disposable medical devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Strong reading comprehension and ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Basic math skills and ability to read measuring tools.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate converting equipment following procedures.
• Read and interpret customer specifications for packaging products.
• Mount dies and secure assemblies in machine bed; align auxiliary equipment.
• Perform 5S and housekeeping duties; ensure a safe, organized work area.
• Complete daily/weekly production and labor reporting paperwork.
• Deliver product samples and inspect for defects; maintain quality standards.
