Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the team at McRae Women's Facility in McRae-Helena, Georgia. The role supports nursing, medical and psychiatric staff in direct patient care for incarcerated individuals, including hygiene, daily living activities and vital signs.

The position operates on a night shift with three shifts per week and rotating weekends. Required CNA certification, high school diploma or GED, and eligibility for PPD documentation,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• One year of experience in long term or skilled care, residential care, physician practice or correctional setting preferred
• Must show/obtain current PPD documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR and AED use
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living activities
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Provide direct patient care under supervision of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff
