Mercyhealth is seeking a CNA to provide direct patient care and clinical support on a 36-hour weekly night shift in Illinois. You will assist with vital signs, monitoring, documentation, and equipment management under RN supervision.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous learning, with opportunities to precept new partners and participate in unit improvement initiatives. A CNA certificate and CPR/BLS are required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CNA program is required.
• Current CNA certificate in applicable state.
• CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care under RN supervision and per routine.
• Answer call lights promptly and document care accurately.
• Maintain clean patient environment and stocked supplies.
• Float to different units as needed and participate in improvement activities.
• Train/precept new partners in collaboration with the unit educator.
• Assist with telemetry setup and basic device management.
