Job summary

Corewell Health in Reed City, MI is seeking a CNA to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with daily activities, document care, and maintain a safe, clean environment while following hospital policies.

Responsibilities include dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding patients, and participating in quality monitoring activities. Requires a Michigan CNA training certificate, high school diploma, and BLS within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA training is required.
• Driver's license (Michigan) is required for off-site transport as needed.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire or as specified.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, aligned with unit policies.
• Care for assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding.
• Document care provided following guidelines.
• Maintain patient environment/equipment and report malfunctions.
• Complete required CNA educational hours.
• Participate in unit quality monitoring activities under supervision.
