Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Santa Fe, NM seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting with routine patient care and supporting clerical tasks in a nursing unit.

The role requires a CNA license in the state of employment, BLS certification, and preferably a high school diploma. Experience in an acute care setting is preferred. The shift is 7PM–7AM and the position is full-time, located on-site in Santa Fe.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA license in state of employment required.
• BLS certification required.
• Patient care experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Completes pertinent documents.
• Prepares rooms for admission and adjusts beds as needed.
• Maintains unit supplies and transports patients as required.
• Responds to emergencies and communicates with team members across shifts.
