Job summary

Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking a Clinical Technician for the 2 East Obs/Cardiac Tele/Dialysis unit at our North Naples campus. The role supports nurses with direct patient care in a fast-paced 28-bed unit.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, monitoring patients, documenting in the EMR, and coordinating care with the care team. Requires HS diploma and BLS; Florida CNA/RN track options may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Must satisfy one of the following: CNA with FL licensure, RN student actively enrolled in RN program, RN graduate pending NCLEX authorization, EMT or Paramedic with FL licensure and work experience, basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to perform, assist, reinforce, and deliver patient care.
• Manages multiple patient care assignments based on unit acuity and staffing levels.
• Receives report from primary care partner and completes assignments in a timely and organized manner.
• Instructs and/or reinforces appropriate patient care activities under direction of licensed professional.
• Responds timely to all patient requests and communicates to the appropriate caregiver when necessary.
• Demonstrates ability to recognize and perform emergency measures including CPR.
• Maintains annual competency with patient-specific procedures and documents in EMR.
• Transports patients to other areas of the hospital as needed.
• Acts as patient sitter or telemetry monitor when required.
