Job summary

CenExel Clinical Research is seeking a Clinical Research RN I to oversee daily study activities and serve as liaison between the site and sponsor. You will document data accurately and ethically throughout the trial process.

The 3 night shifts per week (6 pm–6 am) include a $3/h night differential and compensation of $36-42/h, based on education, experience, and skill. On-site work with a strong emphasis on quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the employing state with no disciplinary action.
• BLS or ACLS certification required or obtainable.
• 1 year or less of clinical experience.
• IV certification required if site demands.
• Capable of performing all licensure-related clinical tasks.
• Strong verbal communication with patients.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and independent performer.
• Calm under emergencies.
• Professional appearance.
• Oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care; monitor vitals, lab tests, and related data.
• Review and execute clinical research protocols.
• Complete and maintain study documents per sponsor and site requirements.
• Possibly recruit potential study subjects.
• Screen subjects for eligibility and schedule assessments.
• Complete Case Report Forms per study protocol.
• Coordinate sponsor visits and maintain sponsor communications.
• Maintain inventory of data and supplies.
• Attend training and staff/initiation meetings.
• Observe and report adverse events and serious adverse events.
• Conduct informed consent per CenExel SOPs.
• Follow up on laboratory results and ensure safety.
• Oversee collection/shipment of specimens where applicable.
• Assist with quality assurance activities and complete queries.
• Obtain Principal Investigator signatures on documents.
• Oversee administration of investigational medication per protocol.
• Ensure accountability for study and clinical drugs.
• Adhere to FDA/ICH/GCP and CenExel SOPs.
