Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I to perform laboratory analyses on clinical specimens, ensure quality control, and operate lab equipment in a fast-paced environment. Shift: Tues - Fri, 10pm - 730am, with travel between site locations as needed. Strong attention to detail and effective communication are essential to maintain patient safety and test accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in laboratory science or medical lab tech.
• 60 semester hours or equivalent with 24 hours in medical lab courses.
• Experience performing moderate to highly complex tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and highly complex laboratory tests according to SOPs.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Document quality control procedures and results.
• Maintain inventory and assist with new equipment validation.
• Ensure patient data confidentiality and safety.
