Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily unit activities on assigned shift.
• Assign patient care and staffing to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Coordinate bed flow, rounds with physicians, and nurse manager communication.
• Lead performance improvement activities and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide staff development, mentorship, and preceptorship as needed.
