Job summary

Quest Transport in Wilmington, NC seeks a Class A Tanker Driver to load and unload gasoline, diesel, ethanol or other petroleum products, and transport them safely to customers. You will record gauge readings, use ELDs to log DOT hours, and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

You will work a 4:30 PM start with Friday & Saturday off (Night Position) and must meet Hazmat, Tanker, TWIC credentials, plus the ability to work nights and weekends. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and TWIC or willingness to obtain TWIC.
• Minimum 18 months of recent fuel hauling experience.
• Minimum 18 months of recent Class A driving experience.
• Clean driving record: no rollovers, no DUI/DWI, no reckless driving.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and pre‑hire drug screen.
• Available to work nights and weekends.
• Able to handle hoses and fittings up to 75 lbs.
• Positive attitude, team player, reliable.
• Willing to follow FMCSA guidelines; cellphone/Bluetooth policy while driving; zero tolerance while loading and unloading.
• Minimum 23 years old.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tankers with gasoline, diesel fuel, ethanol, or other petroleum products following company procedures.
• Transport them safely to customers and record gauge and meter readings before and after each delivery.
• Use onboard electronic logging devices to track movement and DOT hours of service, and conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
